24 x 24 x 1 1/2 Acrylic on stretched canvas.
This piece was done around the same time as Row Boats. It turned out to be a manifestation of what I was feeling towards my life at the time. The result is harsh, yet it's cucooned by a hint of velvet smooth brush strokes along the sharp and heavy textures. To me, the composition depicts an animals chaotic attempt to break out as its claws rip though whatever is nearest. There are gashes of urgency amoung the bright mist of the backdrop.
